Thank you for the opportunity to supply you with general information in regard to self-publishing your book. (Every project is different, so we look forward to discussing personally the specifics of your project and providing a customized/specific quote.) We have worked with many individuals, businesses, organizations, educational institutions and understand the need to provide quotes that help you manage your budget. This is why we offer a per-page fee for book formatting, so as page count goes up or down you can keep track of cost. We also follow an efficient process to assist authors in moving things along at a fast pace and to alleviate extensive rework; this helps us offer our professional services at the most cost-effective rates.
The first step would be a strategic consultation to discuss your project in greater detail - find out more about your goals, audience, preferences and show you some samples of our professionally completed perfect bound books. We will offer you suggestions regarding content organization and such as the most effective and cost-efficient book size, layout, etc. based on your book project.
TRIMATRIX associates are also here to help with creative brainstorming, book outlines, content development and writing...as little or as much help as you would like!
After professional print publication, we post your book cover on our web site - with a link to your website and/or downloadable order form (provided at no cost by TRIMATRIX).
As well, after publication, we offer marketing tips and/or through our associates can provide hands-on support to e-market and promote your book. We also offer economical marketing tools (based on pre-set templates) for such as launch event postcard, book order form, event poster, easy-to-mail bookmark...to help advertise events and get purchasers to your website/store-front.
We'll also keep you informed regarding any relevant opportunitites that we come across, i.e., special market (niche market for books) ideas and avenues pertaining to your subject matter... We are always on the lookout for opportunities that help promote our authors.

TRIMATRIX Process Starting from completed content...

- If you need help with book content development/editing - associates are at the ready to help brainstorm book ideas, develop content, write, edit - as required.
- When ready, final, edited text (as electronic word processing file) and pictures (as TIF, high res JPEG, etc.) is provided by author(s).
- Mock-up of draft design is provided to author(s) for review.
- Content is integrated and page and cover layout and design completed. (Usually 2-4 weeks.)
- Hard copy is provided for pre-proof review. (Book formatting fees are invoiced.)
- Adjustments are made and print proof is provided for final review.
- Upon approval, and payment of 50% of print, production is underway. (Usually 4-5 weeks.)
NOTES
- Hard copy pictures can be supplied; a scanning fee would be applied based on number of pictures.
- Copy editing services can be arranged, if you require.
- Prices are based on quantity of books ordered and current paper prices, and may be subject to confirmation at time of order placement.
- Applicable taxes will be added. Production Terms: 50% down / 50% upon delivery.

Publishing Process
The following chart outlines the approach we typically take for a publishing services project.
We provide exact instructions and confirm actual delivery dates based on our collective schedules,
as we proceed.
As we proceed, the AUTHOR will be provided with regular updates to timeline clearly indicating stages, input/output requirements/deliverables, and roles and responsibilities at each stage, together with expectations around interaction between the AUTHOR and TRIMATRIX and its associates who may be assisting. The AUTHOR is responsible for interface with and to make all arrangements with supplementary contributors as appropriate. TRIMATRIX will oversee the book development and production process.
Production: We do our best to meet planned deadlines. However, in a production world there are unfortunately, occasionally, unavoidable delays. We will always keep you informed.
GENERALLY - Once "final" content is provided, it takes about two to three months to design, prepare print-ready files, organize production/proof and get your books to you.
Book Format/Design Fees
We understand small business budgeting, personal endeavours, workshop materials...SO we help you manage budgeting by charging by an economical per-page fee $10-$25 (depending on complexity of format you require, e.g., text only, text and pictures, callouts, multiple graphics, variations page to page, colour integration, layout sectioning - we'll help you determine most cost-effective, yet audience-centered, approach).
Sample Production Quote
This quote is based on sample book specs to simply give you an idea of costs. We will obtain a quote based on actual design aspects and proposed print run for your book. Please note: As book development tends to evolve, e.g., pages increase/decrease, sometimes size changes, final invoice is always based on final specs and actual production and delivery costs for same. You are always informed before we ask you to approve your print run. Prices are based on current paper prices and may be subject to confirmation at time of order placement.
