Teachers are looking for new ways to engage their students in writing and reading. And, becoming a published author is a sure inspiration! "One child who wasn’t at all interested in writing actually asked for their work back to do more work and a better edit. His comment was: We are being published you know!" says one junior division teacher. |
Kids for Kids (KfK) Books fast-paced Young Author Publishing Adventure Program really gets kids interested in writing. It kick-starts the process and, before students know it, they have a poem, a letter, a whole page or two ...of story-telling. And, they feel a great sense of accomplishment!
“We celebrated with a school-wide assembly and had students from each grade read their story. Then we handed out the school books. We couldn’t get the kids to stop reading!” comments one Principal.
Class, Grade, Divisional, School projects are possible – and we are always looking for new ideas – whatever you are interested in, please let us know!
